Why barns are a different job
A barn has more wall than most houses, gables that go up two or three stories and wood that has often gone years without attention. Layers of old paint build up, and when they fail they fail in big sheets. That takes more scraping, more priming and more ladder work than a typical house.

What we paint
- Barns and gambrel roofs
- Carriage houses
- Detached garages
- Sheds and workshops
- Cupolas, trim and X brace doors
- Garage and carriage doors
Matching the house, or keeping it classic
Some owners want the barn to match the house. Others want the traditional barn red with white trim. We have done both, and we can pick out doors and X braces in a contrasting color.
